Press Releases

I had a press released published in a local news paper yesterday – or so I’m told.  I haven’t actually seen it myself.  I don’t subscribe to that paper, so I’m going to have to make a trip down to the library and take a gander for myself soon.  It’s not a press release for my business – it’s something I did for a client.

Press release writing is one of the skills I’d like to try to improve on – that and “all things web site”.  Although I’m relatively comfortable with my basic site building skills, I would definitely like to improve them and learn new things.

2nd Inaugural Blog Entry

This is my second inaugural blog entry. Why do I say it’s my second inaugural entry? Because I actually had this blog up and running last week, and everything was going great. Then something happened – don’t ask me what, because I still don’t understand it – and the WordPress install got corrupted and it started asking for a user name and password just to view the blog. And no, I did not have it set to require a log-in for blog viewing. So, after several days going back and forth with my hosting company, they FINALLY got the glitch removed and the blog installed back in the right location.

I am undecided as of yet exactly which direction I want to take this blog – anecdotal, tips or serious articles. It will probably end up being a combination of all three.
